Cherrywood FAQ's

Following are a list of questions commonly posed by Homeowner's, especially those that are new to our community.  Maybe one of these questions is something you've been wondering about.  We'll keep adding and changing this as we can and as we get new questions.

Question:

How and where do I make my monthly Maintenance Fee Payment?

Answer:

Your monthly Maintenance Fees are due on the 1st of every month.  We send out statements every month so that you can make sure your payment is made on a timely basis.  Payments can be deposited in the Clubhouse door (north side), or you can set up on Bill Pay with your bank.  These payments can then be set up for 'recurring payments' and it becomes easier for you.  If you choose this option please mail your payments to:

Question:

What is 'limited common area'?

Answer:

All of the grounds at Cherrywood are 'common grounds', which means they are available for all of us to use and enjoy.  Limited common area means the area right outside your door and around your unit.

Question:
Who is responsible for keeping up the plants and area around my condo?

Answer:

If you as the owner, or the previous owner that you purchased your unit from has changed any of the 'original landscape', you are responsible for the upkeep.

Question:

What does my Maintenance Fee pay for?

Answer:

Your share each month helps keep our Association going.  We all contribute to the grounds maintenance, electrical lighting, swimming pool, heating, all of the normal amenities you would pay for if you had your home in another neighborhood.  The biggest share of your money each months, goes towards projects like painting, new roofs, repairs.
